Cardós Valley
Located to the north of the region Pallars Sobirà and along the Cardós river, the altitude of the valley is around 1000m and 3000m with peaks like Certescan, Ventolau or Montroig.
An impressive landscape that offers unique and unspoilt areas of the Pyrenees. Lake Certescan with its 1200m long and 96m deep, making it the biggest lake in the Pyrenees and the main source of trouts.
You can also make excursions to Pla de Boavi and Pla de Nequa, where old stories tell that witches met to celebrate their Sabbaths.
The landscape and architecture of Vall de Cardos offers great possibilities to practice mountain and cultural excursions and mountain sports like rafting, climbing and skiing.
